Eleonora Karpukhova in Concert

Normally, to enjoy this artist's keyboard magic, one would need to travel 5000 miles to Moscow. But soon (July 5) you will need travel only to the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley.

Russian pianist Eleonora Karpukhova, Associate Professor at the world-famous Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music and winner of numerous international competitions, was born in Kazan and began her musical studies at age 5. She performs widely in Russia and regularly around Europe, in South America, and since 2014 in the United States. The program will feature Rachmaninoff to celebrate the 150th anniversary of his birth. Join us on July 5 to welcome Eleonora for her second appearance on the WICA stage.
