Mondays 6-9pm outdoors on the Zech stage at WICA for 6 weeks from August 10th to September 21st – excluding Labor Day September 7th.
Classes are intended to be safe, fun, and engaging! A person exposed to improvisation enjoys varying levels of benefits, including gaining confidence on stage and in life to react in the moment, improving one’s ability to be witty or thoughtful, a deeper understanding of listening, and much, much more.
Classes will involve improvised scenework with feedback/notes/challenges, improv exercises that enable students to break out of unproductive patterns, and discussion on the fine art of improvisation.
