Carles Pons Spanish Guitar

CARLES PONS ALTÉS, he began his music studies in the city of Lleida with Mr. Jordi Montagut. Moving to Barcelona in 1986, he attended classes for the Higher Music Degree at the Municipal Higher Conservatoire while undertaking further guitar studies with Mr Manuel González.

His concert career has spanned nearly 20 years. Concertizing has taken him to all parts of Spain as well as to Bahrain (Persic Gulf), Turkey, Bulgaria, Brasil , Perú, Germany, Rep. Of Serbia, England, Austria, Mexico, Rep. Slovaquia, French, Switzerland, Italy, USA, Japan …

He has played with orchestras like Barcelona orchestra “Kamerart”, “Fundation Orchestra” of Irún, “Ensemble Instrumental du Léman” of Switzerland, “International Festival Orchestra of Nis (Serbia)”; he has played under such conductors as Jordi Colomer, Juan Jose Ocón, Frank Rodriguez-Freites. Bela Koteles and Michele Santorsola.
