Max O'Rourke: Rhythm Guitar

Max O’Rourke is much sought after rhythm guitar player in the United States. Being a staple among the Gonzalo Bergara Quartet, the Rhythm Future Quartet, and the Daisy Castro Quartet, he has also played with Stephane Wremble, John Jorgenson, and many others. In this class students will learn different styles and variations of rhythm guitar (including swing, bossa, rhumba, choro, waltzes, ballads, etc). Emphasis will also be put on voice leading, harmony, dynamics, and timekeeping.
