Jimmy Grant: Django and the Blues

An in-depth analysis of Django Reinhardt playing the blues. Grant will be studying multiple Django solos and learning how each lick functions, including: proper technique, practice routine/technique and effectively practicing, timing and the importance of good rhythm guitar, tone, and taste.

Participants will analyze a minor Blues, a major Blues, and a rhythm Changes tune. Handouts in notation and tablature will be provided as well.
