With the exciting growth of Gypsy Jazz worldwide, inevitably there come the great new players. A brewing hot spot for this growth has been, and always will be, Paris, France. In the direct bulls-eye center of this energy vortex sits Adrien Moignard.

Moignard began playing the guitar at age 12. After exploring blues & rock, he discovered Django Reinhardt’s music and American jazz. He is now one of the most sought after guitarists in the modern Gypsy Jazz and swing scene. He is a member of two highly regarded Parisian bands: the Zaiti Ensemble and Selmer #607. Both bands consist of some of the top Parisian and French players in the Manouche or Gypsy Jazz genre today.

Opened by: Evan Price and Jason Vieaux. Evan Price is steadily gaining recognition as one of the world's most confident voices in extra-classical string playing. As a young competitive fiddler he won his share of awards, having been named the U.S. Scottish Fiddling Champion, the Kentucky State Fiddle Champion, Canadian Junior Fiddle Champion, and Canadian Novelty Fiddling Champion. He also performed with some of the masters of fiddle lore—Stephane Grappelli, Johnny Frigo, Claude "Fiddler" Williams, Johnny Gimble, Buddy Spicher, and Vassar Clements—as well as a diverse array of pop icons from Stevie Wonder and Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and Robert Plant to comedian, Steven Wright.

Grammy-winner Jason Vieaux, “among the elite of today's classical guitarists” (Gramophone), is the guitarist that goes beyond the classical. NPR describes Vieaux as, “perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation.” His most recent solo album, Play, won the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo.

Vieaux has earned a reputation for putting his expressiveness and virtuosity at the service of a remarkably wide range of music, and his schedule of performing, teaching, and recording commitments is distinguished throughout the U.S. and abroad.
