The djam of djams - organized by Simon Planting! The Henry Acker Trio is made up of 13-year-old guitar prodigy Henry, his father, Victor Acker on rhythm guitar, and his uncle Dana Acker on double bass. The trio began when Henry was nine years old and starting to amass an impressive repertoire of gypsy tunes. Very quickly the word spread and soon the trio was performing for Harvard, MIT, festivals across the New England, and some of Boston’s premier jazz clubs. With a sincere love of playing this beautiful music, The Henry Acker Trio continues to generate momentum and a buzz with Henry at the helm.
